Abstrak Tesis
ABSTRACT
Nyamat. 2009. Uplifting of Skill Writes Paragraph Narasi with Teaching Media of Microsoft PowerPoint Class Student VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pati. Thesis. Magister University Language Study Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Counsellor : (1) Prof. Dr. H. Markhamah, M.Hum. ; (2) Dra. Hj. Atiqa Sabardila, M.Hum.
This research aim to describe ability of teacher and student in process of learning teach matter to write narration paragraph by using teaching media of Microsoft PowerPoint at class student VIII Junior High School 3 Pati.
Research done is research qualitative through PTK (Research Action of Class). Research Object of class student VIII A in Junior High School 3 Pati with ability data source writes narration paragraph student, software Microsoft PowerPoint, and teacher of Indonesia language. Data collecting done by researcher self as instrument through research of action of class, observation directly and documentation study. Data analysis process done based on data analysis arranged in process of study with cycle and developed narrative.
Result and research finding done by skill to write narration paragraph student to experience improvement after learning process teaches applies media Microsoft PowerPoint. This thing is marked fifthly aspect analyses (theme, spelling, diction, sentence, and paragraph) except result of article six students that is Arika Dian Romadani and Yunita Dyah Kusumaningrum permanent (stagnant) at cycle I, II and also permanent III of sort. Arif Setiawan, Arnold Agung Christianto, and Bagas Andita Setiawan at cycle III sort has but at cycle I and II sort has not. As For Nurul Latifiyah Aldilla at cycle III sort has but at cycle I and II remain not sort. But in general besides sixth of the student of improvement happened at fifth of aspect narration paragraph that theme concordance aspect, spelling, diction, sentence and paragraph. Cycle I composition of correct student at concordance aspect of theme 6 student, spelling 3 student, diction 2 student, sentence 3 student, and paragraph 2 student. Cycle II composition of correct student at concordance aspect of theme 15 students, spelling 11 students, diction 11 students, sentence 11 students and paragraph also 11 students. While at cycle III composition of correct student of concordance aspect of theme 17 students, spelling 16 students, diction 17 students, sentence 18 students and paragraph 18 students.
Skill study writes narration paragraph by using teaching media of Microsoft PowerPoint has positive influence. Student motivates to be more active exercised writes when learning process to teach taking place. Liveliness of this student makes composition yielded by student increasingly varies, grows, and spirit to learn.
